Move, clap, follow musical maps, and have a blast with the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra, director Kory Katseanes, and amazing guest trumpeters. The whole family will have a wonderful experience! Due to the recent university requirement, all patrons and employees are required to wear a mask while indoors at campus performance venues, regardless of vaccination status.

Opera is a fun way to sing and show a story in living color, costumes, set, and sound. This year, BYU Opera will present a musical retelling of Beauty and the Beast. You won’t believe your own eyes when you see the amazing Beast puppet! You can meet and take pictures with the singers after the concert.

BYU Gamelan Orchestra Jeremy Grimshaw, directorWitness the amazing rhythms and melodies of the drums, gongs, bamboo flutes, and bronze xylophones of the gamelan orchestra from Bali. This music from Southeast Asia is one of the world’s oldest and richest musical traditions, and the virtuosity required to coordinate its many layers will amaze you!

BYU Wind Symphony Shawn Smith, conductorPrepare to be amazed by the sounds of brilliant brass, wondrous woodwinds, and powerful percussion! Join us as conductor Shawn Smith and the BYU Wind Symphony perform a concert that will light up your imagination, including cartoon music, children's songs, and music from the popular children's book, Goodnight Moon. Following the concert, join us for an up-close and personal look at the instruments and musicians of the Wind Symphony!

Join us as we say farewell to the de Jong Concert Hall and celebrate 100 years of opera at BYU! You can meet and take pictures with the singers after the concert.
