Parking and Directions

Many BYU faculty parking lots open to the public at 7:00 p.m. and many BYU student parking lots open to the public at 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Public parking is also available in most lots all day on Saturdays. Visitor lots are available during regular business hours north of the Museum of Art (MOA) and east of the Wilkinson Student Center (WSC). We strongly encourage you to plan extra time to find parking, especially when campus is hosting home football and basketball games.

Parking near the Harris Fine Arts Center (HFAC)

Parking lots servicing the Harris Fine Arts Center (HFAC)

  • 2V and 2A (northeast of the Museum of Art)
  • 3A (directly east of the HFAC)
  • 1A (northwest of the Museum of Art)
  • 26A/26G (west of the J. Reuben Clark Building-Law School)
  • 16A (east of the Hinckley Alumni and Visitors Center)
  • 19A/19Y/20Y (north/northeast of the Marriott Center)
  • 49Y (football stadium lot northwest of the Marriott Center)

Directions to the Harris Fine Arts Center (HFAC)

Coming from the North (Salt Lake City, Orem)

  • From I-15 southbound, take the University Parkway exit (#269) and turn left (east).
  • Drive east on University Parkway through Orem, past University Mall, down the hill, and past LaVell Edwards Stadium.
  • Immediately after passing the stadium, turn right (south) at the traffic light onto 450 East.(The Marriott Center will be on the corner.)
  • At the light after the Marriott Center turn left (east) onto North Campus Drive.
  • Continue on North Campus Drive under the two pedestrian overpasses. Immediately following the second overpass, turn right into the Visitors’ Parking lot at the Museum of Art (MOA).
  • The HFAC is the building directly south of the MOA.

Coming from the South (Spanish Fork, Springville):

  • From I-15 northbound, take the University Avenue exit. Upon exiting you will be driving north on University Avenue.
  • Continue driving north on University Avenue past the Provo Tabernacle, the new Provo Library, soccer fields, and Provo High School.
  • Turn right (east) on 1230 North/Bulldog Blvd.
  • Continue driving east up the hill past the Welcome to BYU sign, Tanner Building, and the residence halls. After driving straight through the light you will be on North Campus Drive.
  • Continue on North Campus Drive under the two pedestrian overpasses. Immediately following the second overpass, turn right into the Visitors’ Parking lot at the Museum of Art (MOA).
  • The HFAC is the building directly south of the MOA.

 

Parking near the Stephen L. Richards Building (RB)

The Dance Studio Theatre (169 RB) is located on the first floor at the north end of the Stephen L. Richards Building. A ticket office for will call and new purchases (when available) is located in the hallway directly outside the entrance to the theatre and services ticketed performances one hour prior to those performances.

Directions to the Richards Building (RB)

Coming from the North (Salt Lake City, Orem)

  • From I-15 Southbound, take the University Parkway exit (#269) and turn left (east).
  • Drive east on University Parkway through Orem, past University Mall, and down the hill.
  • Turn right (south) onto University Avenue.
  • Drive south on University Avenue and turn left at 1230 North/Bulldog Blvd.
  • Get into the right lane. Proceed through the first traffic light (Canyon Rd).Immediately past the intersection, instead of going up the hill, turn right into the Richards Building parking lot.
  • After turning into the parking lot, the RB is the brick building to your left.

Coming from the South (Spanish Fork, Springville)
