Carillons - a new work by BYU faculty composer Neil Thornock - will be the centerpiece of this recital by Alexander Woods, violin, and Rex Woods, piano. The "energy, melodic inspiration, and coloristic imagination" (Fanfare) of Thornock's music will be on full display. Music by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt will round out an evening of beautiful sonic landscapes.

Enjoy a fun musical journey as Korianne Johnson and Mark Ammons sing duets from around the world of music, accompanied by pianist and actor Jared Pierce. With these three multifaceted performers, truly anything goes!

Pianist Kaden Larson, joined by violinist Anna Larson, presents a recital featuring the works of Schumann, Medtner, and more.

Nothing conjures up the vision of 1920s America more than the swinging music of the Jazz Legacy Band. Featuring clarinet, trombone, trumpet, piano, banjo, drums, and bass, the Jazz Legacy Band brings back memories of a bygone jazz era as they perform standard jazz selections performed by the likes of Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Jelly Roll Morton, Joe “King” Oliver, Sidney Bechet, and so on. The Jazz Legacy Band puts on a high-energy, toe-tapping, dancing-in-your-seat, and smiling-all-the-way, good- time concert.

BYU professor and renowned pianist Stephen Beus performs works by Griffes, Alkan, and Medtner.

This concert features works by living American composers Caroline Shaw, Jennifer Higdon, and Reena Esmail as well as works by French composers Olivier Messiaen, Francis Poulenc, and Maurice Ravel. Each of these composers strives to elevate and inspire through their unique voices. Come for an evening of transformative music that will resonate, soothe, and challenge.

The American Piano Duo and American Piano Quartet combine for a thrilling evening of musical favorites. Come hear the resounding and sumptuous textures of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Suite No. 2, the patriotic fervor of “The Stars and Stripes Forever,” and much more!

Flowers of Vietnam is an exploration into the exotic and beautiful piano music of Vietnam. For many of these pieces, it will be the first time they have been heard in Utah. Also on the program will be works by Chopin and Schubert.
