Inspired by the resilience of the human spirit amidst devastating recent events worldwide, The 5 Browns present their program Rising Phoenix. With pieces ranging from past to present (Bach and the rock band Muse), classical to popular (Beethoven and The Beatles), intense to fun (Bartok and West Side Story), and emotional to triumphant (To Kill a Mockingbird and The Firebird), The 5 Browns take a panoramic approach to communicating with their audiences through this program.

Concert Choir embarks on a tour of multicultural music with folk songs and folk hymns from around the globe. The BYU Singers, meanwhile, continues its annual concert tradition of "Musica eclectica," an artistically curated menagerie of dazzling choral gems both ancient and modern.

Known for their polished performances and versatility of genre and style, the university's four auditioned choirs—Men's Chorus, Women's Chorus, Concert Choir, and BYU Singers—will present a varied program of classical and contemporary choral works.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis (JLCO) comprises 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today. Led by Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center Managing and Artistic Director, this remarkably versatile orchestra performs a night of unforgettable jazz.

The BYU Wind Symphony celebrates Black History Month with a concert titled "Toward Freedom..." featuring Aaron Copland's Lincoln Portrait, two works honoring Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and a musical celebration of the Black Sunday worship experience by composer Omar Thomas.

Come enjoy the tight harmonies of Syncopation with the high energy of Jazz Ensemble, in our favorite collaboration of the year!

As the first event of the 2022 BYU Singers Reunion, this evening's concert celebrates 37 years of friendships, rehearsals, and performances at home and on tours throughout the world. This year's choir will open the concert with the repertoire they have prepared for their tour to the Baltics. In a joyful conclusion, the many alumni in attendance will join the choir on stage, conducted by Andrew Crane and by Ronald Staheli, the founding conductor.

Described by the Daily Telegraph as a “rare thing, a modern composer who is both popular and original,” Eric Whitacre is one of the most celebrated living composers, whose music has been revered and frequently performed by the BYU Choirs. These two entities will finally unite for an historic evening not only featuring treasured selections from Whitacre’s catalog performed by the BYU Choirs but will also be conducted and curated by Whitacre himself.

As a young child grows to adulthood he searches for who he is and how he fits into the world. His questions are answered as parents and ancestors share the stories of their people through song and dance. The final performance (Saturday, March 19, 7:30 p.m.) of "Storytellers" will incorporate Living Legends dancers from the last 50 years. Don't miss out!

"Old, New, Borrowed, Blue." This rhyme was originally meant to symbolize luck for a bride on her wedding day. The Symphonic Band presents a program that brings this old adage to the concert hall. Join us for something old, new, borrowed, and BLUE!
