Streaming Frequently Asked Questions
What is BYU Arts?
BYU Arts is the umbrella organization for the performing arts departments within the BYU College of Fine Arts and Communications. We produce and present theatrical, dance, and musical productions, as well as our beloved BRAVO! professional performing arts series, to the campus and surrounding communities, offering more than 500 performances each year.
What performances will BYU Arts present during the 2020-2021 season?
Although all our public, in-person performances have been cancelled, various Music, Theatre, and Dance performances will be streamed, when possible. You can access these online offerings through byuarts.com.
To gain access to streaming do I have to sign up for anything?
Streaming access is completely free, and requires no sign up. All the streams and links can be found on this website and on the pages for each department.
How will 2020-2021 performances be presented?
Performances during the Fall 2020 semester will be limited in number, and available for livestreaming only (no recorded performances). This information can be found at byuarts.com. At this time, we are unsure how the Winter 2021 semester will unfold.
Where can streaming information be found?
For streaming information, please visit byuarts.com.
Is the BRAVO! series cancelled?
For the time being, yes. Because the BRAVO! professional performing arts series by definition involves bringing professional performing artists to campus for live, in-person performances, the series is unfortunately on hold until further notice.
Can I have BYU Arts performance information sent to me?
Absolutely. We send a weekly OnStage email to patrons, providing notice of coming attractions. Feel free to sign up for these emails at
