Step Into the World of Dvořák With the Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert

Enjoy an evening of Dvořák’s finest work with the BYU Symphony Orchestra

On March 29, the BYU Symphony Orchestra offers to accompany audience members into the musical world of Czech composer Antonín Dvořák with its spring concert. Under the direction of Christian Smith, the orchestra will guide the audience on a tour through Dvořák’s musical compositions.

The concert will include some of the Czech composer’s most well-known works, including what many consider his masterwork, “Symphony No. 9 (New World),” as well as “Song to the Moon,” a piece from Dvořák’s opera “Rusalka.” Voice professor and soprano Diane Reich will accompany the orchestra as a featured guest on this piece.
