Known for their polished performances and versatility of genre and style, the university's four auditioned choirs—Men's Chorus, Women's Chorus, Concert Choir, and BYU Singers—will present a varied program of classical and contemporary choral works.

As the first event of the 2022 BYU Singers Reunion, this evening's concert celebrates 37 years of friendships, rehearsals, and performances at home and on tours throughout the world. This year's choir will open the concert with the repertoire they have prepared for their tour to the Baltics. In a joyful conclusion, the many alumni in attendance will join the choir on stage, conducted by Andrew Crane and by Ronald Staheli, the founding conductor.

Described by the Daily Telegraph as a “rare thing, a modern composer who is both popular and original,” Eric Whitacre is one of the most celebrated living composers, whose music has been revered and frequently performed by the BYU Choirs. These two entities will finally unite for an historic evening not only featuring treasured selections from Whitacre’s catalog performed by the BYU Choirs but will also be conducted and curated by Whitacre himself. This event is eligible for Y-tix.

Men's Chorus will embark on its first-ever international tour in just a few short weeks. This concert is a preview of what our friends in Sweden, Latvia, and Estonia will experience, namely: "A Men's Chorus Portrait." We will showcase the unique Men's Chorus sound, ranging from sacred and secular to heartfelt and exuberant, featuring selections that are distinctly American alongside repertoire from Scandinavia and the Baltics.
