Experience the virtuosity of this award-winning chamber ensemble in BYU’s new Recital Hall. Dedicated to promoting contemporary music by Mexican and Latin American composers, the Mexico City Woodwind Quintet frequently commissions and premieres new works. In addition to their performances at international music festivals, the group is also known for their commitment to educating young woodwind players through seminars and workshops.

BYU’s annual two-day tuba festival features students and faculty performing classical favorites as well as arrangements of popular songs, film scores, and folk tunes.

Flowers of Vietnam is an exploration into the exotic and beautiful piano music of Vietnam. For many of these pieces, it will be the first time they have been heard in Utah. Also on the program will be works by Chopin and Schubert.

Vocal jazz at its finest! From the incredible stylings and sassy bebop lines of Hayley Kirkland and Suzy Nichols to the laid-back musical musings of Mark Ammons, this evening of vocal jazz will have you movin’ and groovin’!

BYU’s early music chamber orchestra presents an evening of sumptuous and fiery baroque music in the School of Music’s beautiful new Recital Hall.
