Manual for a Desperate Crossing and Letters from Cuba

November 20, 2020 @ 7:30 PM

On Thursday, November 19, following the performance of Letters from Cuba and Manual for a Desperate Crossing we invite you to join us for our Thursday evening post-show discussion with our designers and dramaturgs. You can join to make comments, ask questions, or just listen to the conversation. The discussion will begin immediately following the show and will run for about 15 minutes at the following link: http://bit.ly/TMApostshow

Manual for a Desperate Crossing was created from numerous interviews with survivors who fled Cuba on homemade rafts. Based on personal letters between Fornés and her brother, Letters from Cuba fluidly moves in time, place, and spirit, linking protagonist Fran and her relatives in Cuba.
