Kory Katseanes, conductor

This performance will be streamed live online here.

The BYU Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Kory Katseanes, will pay tribute to the great composers of England. Selections will include “Marching Song, Op. 22, No. 2” by Gustav Holst, “Chanson de Nuit, Op. 15, No. 1” by Edward Elgar and “Serenade to Music” by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

The highlight of the evening will be “Water Music” by George Frederick Handel. The collection of suites was originally performed on the River Thames for King George I and remains one of the most popular works for large orchestra.
