BYU Symphony Orchestra to Perform Annual Fall Concert

The concert will take BYU audiences through highlights from centuries of music The BYU Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Christian Smith, will take the stage in their annual fall concert on Nov. 8. “This concert will offer a widely varied program, spanning works from the Baroque though the 20th century,” said Smith. “Featured music will include Leopold Stokowski’s famous setting of Bach’s ‘Sheep May Safely Graze,’ Wagner’s Prelude to his opera ‘Die Meistersinger,’ and Samuel Barber’s ‘Adagio for Strings.’ The performance will also feature music of Johann Strauss Jr. and Verdi.”   Tickets and Show Details Performance Dates and Times: Nov. 8 | 7:30 p.m. Location: de Jong Concert Hall, Franklin S.
