Enjoy an evening with Q’d Up, BYU’s premier faculty jazz combo.

The Theatre Ballet Studio Company: Emerging Works Series presents classical and contemporary works by faculty and students. This performance showcases a wide variety of styles, traditions, and creativity within the balletic genre.

Women’s Chorus will present music that lifts, empowers, and nourishes the soul with sacred and secular pieces from the brilliant composers of our time and those long before us.

Flute Choir

The Flute Choir is a small ensemble of BYU students who play piccolo, C flute, alto flute, and bass flute. This concert features classical masterpieces arranged for flute choir as well as new music.

This exciting showcase is a preview of performances by Acting and Music Dance Theatre (MDT) seniors who will travel to New York to audition for industry producers and directors.

Using flotsam and jetsam found on the shore after a storm, beachcombing storytellers piece together a mysterious story of wonder. Puppetry, music, and magic come into play as young people are invited to help tell the tale. Though adapted for elementary school–aged children, older audience members will recognize the mirth and shadows of Shakespeare’s masterful final play. 

Enjoy an evening of orchestral music from past to present with the University Orchestra and University Strings! These two ensembles are open to all interested students, and they are led by graduate students in BYU’s master’s program in conducting.

This concert features BYU’s mainstream jazz combos, each playing two selections in a wide variety of styles—from bebop to bossa nova and American Songbook to funk.
